A since weeks full calendar told us that it is high time for a break. We decided to provide us with one of the most precious resources of this earth to spoil the water…… warm water.
After a short search we decided to Tuscany. Tuscany Water? Yes, yes and yes again.
The Tuscany, a composition of the landscape wealth, grapevines and olive trees, and as a painter's hand-made mound, encircled by cypresses, has much moret to offer than these so unique characteristics.
After this trip, we should even be convinced. Italy's highest extinct volcano, Monte Amiata is responsible for ensuring that rain water over decades underground to a healing thermal waters. After our arrival evening, peppered with a fantastic colourful spectacle of the setting sun, we are welcomed very friendly just like good friends. During our luggage is brought to our room, we relax with a welcome drink in the piano bar looking forward to a wonderful holiday.
Our room is a veritable oasis of comfort. A large space, all the details in warm tones, on the bed a hand painting of a Tuscan landscape, on the terrace, we have direct access to plant pollen. The best part for us this room is the bathroom. Separate toilet and shower and floor heating are just part of it as a stylish bathtub with a window into the room.
To complete our arrival after an exhausting journey, we first take a bath by candlelight. Half hour later, we are totally relaxed and also mentally ready for new deeds.
The entire hotel is built into the hill. Travertine stone everywhere, both in the outside, as well as in the inside area. This creates a feeling of comfort, because this stone rises a tremendous heat. Here is a waterfall, where small water games and a well-kept garden fit naturally into the landscape.
As emotions are not only visual, but also sensual, they really keep an eye on this detail. Throughout the house revels in a wondrous pleasant fragrance. Even mysterious fragrance essences are added to the cleaning water.

In the steam baths and saunas with names like Argillae, Olivea, Salino Artemisa show the roots of the origin of this ancient. In this harmoniously designed facility with a large pond and bridges the old and modern merge in a very successful way.
As indicated at the beginning of water to be the main role of our stay. The magic word is Watsu. The shiatsu in the water is probably one of the most fascinating applications of modern therapies.
In pure, without any chemical additives enriched thermal water the body is stretched, stretched and massaged. A therapist weighs and rocks us like a baby. All blockades are resolved. Breath is getting harmonious minute by minute.
The entire hotel is despite his 5 stars a pleasantly comforting and relaxed atmosphere without any constraints and dress codes. Dressed in the white bathrobes is no problem for breakfast or lunch.

The main restaurant is covered with a glass roof, just like a venerable Piazza, most of the season completely open. Clear nights in a romantic place with a view stars in the southern sky.
Those who feel that they have feasted too much, are welcome in a separate area of their own, the world of fitness. Aqua fitness as well as yoga and further training units are offered. Even a round on the cross trainer, here is a real delight. While training our body, our soul relaxes by a wonderful view over the Val d'Orcia and his so delightful scenery.

Our 4 days passed by much too fast and it was a very interesting and relaxing stay. Traditionally, the Tuscany is known for country, culture and people. A stay in the Adler Thermae can be wonderfully with all excursions. Cities like Siena and Florence can be an excellent day trip.
What you should not miss, is a visit of a small town called Pienza, only a few kilometer away from the hotel. The Pope Pius II, was born here.
Small, winding streets, medieval buildings and a variety of scented sausage and cheese is in the air. Lots of Tuscan specialties from around the area are offerd on each corner.
