Brand-new luxury Thalassotherapy Centre situated in the beautiful island of Gran Canaria, famous for its fantastic climate and mild temperatures all year round. The centre was built as part of the five star holiday resort “Gran Hotel Lopesan Villa del Conde” in Maspalomas. By its exclusive location underneath the boardwalk running directly above the coastline spectacular sea views are guaranteed.
The impressing Thalassotherapy Centre offers a special water experience circuit and various thalassotherapy treatments, as well as the so-called „Ocean View Suites“, a new and attractive offer with therapies for couples and groups consisting of 4 special areas surrounded by water. Each one of these suites has its own vitality pool with underwater massages and a terrace for relaxationThe Nature Corner Bar.
The Thalassotherapy Bar merges from the inside of the Vitality Pool area and continues into the outdoor area. On the menu there are drinks and food elaborated with natural products (not included in the price).

THALASSOTHERAPY CENTRE: (approx. 1.200 m2)
“THALASSO EXPERIENCE”:
During the visit our guests can choose from a wide range of possibilities to enjoy an exciting, vitalizing and at the same time relaxing experience. Our visitors begin their journey through the Thalassotherapy Centre relaxing in the Holistic Lounge and then continue in the central seawater Vitality Pool. After having enjoyed this area our guests can proceed to the Indoor Pavilion, a water adventure area where they can use our Crystal or Herbal Steam Bath, two Adventure Showers and an Ice-Shower for refreshment. In the outdoor area guests are offered an enchanting garden area and a Mineral Pavilion for saline inhalations or oil showers where dry skin will get relief.
Vitality Pool and surroundings (approx. 255 m²)
Using the indoor Vitality Pool with seawater helps to gain a deep relaxation. It offers a large choice of body massages such as underwater bubble beds, hydro body massages or neck massages.
The benefit of the water’s warm temperature and buoyancy are used to strengthen and relax muscles and joints. The massage bubble-beds treat the epidermis as well as the deeper skin levels from the feet up to the neck. In order to achieve best results it is recommended to stay in this pool for about 20 minutes.
Around the Vitality Pool there are heated and ergonomically formed beds inviting the guests to relax a while.
Herbal Steam Bath (approx. 9 m²)
The Herbal Steam Bath is equipped with heated walls as well as ergonomically shaped seats which are also heated.
A special device for steam contains 3 different natural herbs and spreads the matching aroma. The programme also includes changing colour lights in accordance to each herb to complete the pleasant experience.
Crystal Steam Bath (approx. 9 m²)
The octagonal steam bath is equipped with heated walls as well as ergonomically formed seats which are also heated.
Fragrant steams arise from a handmade ceramic well. Through this ambiance of high humidity, indirect light breaks from two amethyst-shaped crystals.
Finnish Sauna with Light Therapy (approx. 12 m²)
This traditional Finnish sauna helps to relax and to purify the body. Two light therapy fields are integrated in the ceiling and increase the relaxing effect through their gently merging spectral colour lights.
Adventure Showers (approx. 8 m²)
The adventure showers consist of various water activities which can be selected by our guests.
Using the first programme our guests will feel a soft, warm tropical shower running over their skin. At the same time a fruity fragrance is being released, giving the impression of real tropical rain. During the time it is raining, the shower is illuminated by a warm red light.
The second programme consists of a cool water mist experience combined with a fresh mint fragrance with an excellent cooling effect after using sauna or steam bath. A blue light emphasizes the water’s chilling sensation.
The third programme is a comforting lumbar massage.
Additionally an ice shower is offered to stimulate the guests’ blood circulation after using sauna or steam bath.
Gravity Pool (approx. 39 m²)
An underwater sound and light system is integrated in this saline pool.
Due to the water’s high percentage of salt our guests may enjoy the unique sensation of floating weightless on the water’s surface, in combination with matching musical background program and visualisation of the music with lights inside and outside the pool.
Tea Room (self service) (approx. 35,5 m²)
This area is designed as a waiting room with tea room atmosphere where our guests can rest until the therapist comes to fetch them for the assigned treatment.
Holistic Lounge (approx. 41 m²)
In this rest & meditation room our guests are invited to rest and relax on water beds with special pillows.
The organically shaped light-therapy wall with changing light effects on the whole surface helps to accomplish a perfect relaxation. This pleasing sensation is emphasised by a relaxing music from the pillow with an incorporated sound system.
2 Rhassoul Baths with Preparatory Room (2x approx. 12 m²)
The Rhassoul Bath for one or two people is equipped with two single seats with incorporated heat.
During this mud bath the emphasise is on skin treatment: covering the body with healing clay has a pleasant peeling effect as the skin is being purified from dead skin particles and cells. As final part of the program this unique experience is completed by a charming aroma along with a soft and lukewarm rainfall from above the seats.
Soap Massage Room (approx. 7 m²)
After the Rhassoul bath an oil or soap massage is recommended for skin nourishing. This massage room is equipped with a heated marble bed for massages.
1 Room for Cosmetic Treatments (approx. 21 m²)
Equipped with ergonomic seats for manicure and pedicure treatments.
5 Treatment Rooms Type 1 (total surface approx. 70 m²)
These massage rooms are equipped with massage beds and showers.
Two of these rooms are fitted with separating walls and can be used by couples.
2 Treatment Rooms Type 2 (1 room of approx. 18 m², 1 room of approx. 38,5 m²)
These massage rooms are fitted with massage beds, showers and thalassotherapy bathtubs.
1 Luxury Treatment Room (approx. 31 m²)
The luxury treatment room is equipped with an aromatised steam bath, a thalassotherapy bathtub, two massage beds for individual massages, a shower and an area for relaxation.
The thalassotherapy bath has been designed to be used by one or by two clients. The steam bath is equipped with a heated bank and an additional pleasant fragrance makes this a perfect experience.
This room can be used by one or by two clients.
OUTDOOR AREA:
Mineral Pavilion (approx. 36 m²)
The Saline Inhalation Pavilion is equipped with ergonomically shaped and heated beds.
The inhalation of saline has a strong effect on the entire organism, among others they boost the skin metabolism. This treatment is the appropriate one for skin care and as an inhalation therapy to clean and strengthen the respiratory tracts. To achieve best results it is recommended to stay for approx. 20 minutes in this pavilion.
Kneipp Pool
This cold water treatment of the traditional Kneipp therapy stimulates legs and feet. By stepping through the cold water temperature impulses are transmitted to the body and there are trigger positive reactions. Defenses of the organism are strengthened and heart, circulation and nervous system are balanced and stimulated. To achieve best results it is recommended to use this pool for approx. 5-10 minutes.
Aroma Pavilion (approx. 36 m²)
The oil baths can be combined with all body treatments.
