The GRAN SPA CORALLIUM facilities :
- A world of sensations, where you can find: Water World with reflexology lagoon, lake with 35º C warm water, relaxation showers, one shower with tropical rainstorm; Ice World with igloo and ice canyon; African sauna, with a temperature of 90º C, for 40 persons; relaxation room for regression, relaxation rooms for colour therapy, Hamam (Turkish bath), Caldarium (saline steam bath) and salt water float pool. All theses facilities turn our Spa Centre into the most complete and modern one in Europe.
- Facial and corporal beauty treatments in 15 independent treatment rooms: one with mechanic massage chairs, three offering hydrotherapy treatments with algae, fango etc., as well as masso therapy; 1 room especially designed for manicure and pedicure treatments, as well as 9 rooms offering body massage treatments applying different techniques, such as Thai massage, stone therapy, Swedish massage, anti-stress and anti-cellulite therapies, all of them focussing on the relaxation of Body, Mind and Spirit.
- Exterior garden and pool area: pool for water therapies, hydrotherapy pool with air propellers and water jets, swimming pool and temperature contrast pool, in short, four open-air pools designed for our guests’ relaxation and wellbeing after their physical exercise sessions, consisting of various pools with different shapes and temperatures as well as diverse purposes.

SPA EXPERIENCE:
WATER WORLD:
Before using these facilities, the guests are encouraged to take a shower at the Cosy Wall or the Aqua Dome areas.
Kneipp Walk – Cold water pool
The cold water of the traditional Kneipp treatment stimulates legs and feet. In the bottom of the pool there are small white stones, which massage the foot reflex zones as the guest wades through. In order to gain the greatest benefits, we recommend the guest uses this pool for 10 minutes.
Aqua Dome
There are three different experiences available in the shower. Each one is activated by a different pressure button. The first is a rain storm with 200 litres of water in 60 seconds along with blue lighting and the sound effects of thunder and lightening. The second is a Tropical Rain Shower which provides a light rain coming from the lower hoses along with red and yellow lighting and the sounds of tropical birds. The third button stimulates standing under a water fall with 400 litres of water in 20 seconds (very strong). Each experience lasts for about 1 minute.
Lagoon
The lagoon water is body temperature 35°C with ergonomically formed seats to sit and enjoy the water fall, surrounded by colours of the Caribbean transporting the guest to another reality.
Cosy Wall & Showers
The atmosphere in this area is cosy, as its name indicates. There is a specially designed wall where the guest can lean their back and let the warm water flow over their body.
Ice World
Designed as an experience area in which the guest can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the cold and frost in an igloo style environment, particularly after taking a hot sauna. The atmosphere is created by sparkling crystals on the walls and a centre ice grotto providing continuous crushed ice to apply to the body. The room temperature of 2 to -5°C is maintained with real ice on the ceiling. As the guest walks through the labyrinth to the main igloo they will find heated seats of 15 to 20°C. The seats are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and in beautiful handmade ceramics. The shower facilities offer a variation in pressure and application and are refreshingly cold.
Out of Africa Sauna
This is a dry heat sauna offering even more physical benefits due to the application of herbs and essential oils. It is one of the largest saunas offering enough space for up 40 people. There is a constant temperature of between 80 and 90ºC, with an “Ant hill” in the middle of the room, where water is automatically poured on the heat source to produce steam. (It can be regulated every 20 -30 minutes.)
Facilities, services and treatments:
The recommended time in this facility is 15 minutes. If the guest wishes to stay longer, then it is advised they take a cold shower then return. This way they will obtain a higher grade of relaxation and detoxification.
Saline Caldarium
This is a combination of the ancient tradition of steam treatment and the therapeutic benefits of inhalations. With a temperature between 42 and 46º C., it enables pleasant respiration and relaxation with positive effects on hair, skin and the respiratory system. Steam and salt emanate out of a specially designed table situated in the middle of the room and this, together with the warm green tone of walls and seats provides a unique experience. The floor, walls and seats are heated. The water has a salt content of 3%. The recommended time in this facility is 20 minutes. After the treatment we recommend the guest takes a shower in the private area before they continue on their journey.
Zodiac Relaxation Room
The Spa Experience journey takes the client back to the mother’s womb. Everything is warm and soft and the atmosphere has been specially designed with the appropriate light to create a special sensation of complete relaxation. The room has water beds, with illuminated zodiac signs on top and the gentle humidity, makes it the ideal place for the guest to start their journey towards relaxation before they continue with their Spa Experience. It is also the ideal place to end the journey, prior to taking another shower and getting prepared for “landing” and returning to the real world.
INNER SPA EXPERIENCE:
Lava Relaxation Dome
With lights based on the colours of the Chakra energies. Exotic aromas and soft sounds create the latest achievement known in relaxed atmospheres. The ergonomic beds are situated in a way so that the guest may see the lava pillar in the middle of the room, where water is flowing softy and this effect is augmented by light crystals. The relaxing effect is also emphasised by the heated floor.
Turkish Haman Bath
The Haman bath treatment offers the utmost experience in bath culture. This room is designed in the traditional Turkish style of beautiful coloured ceramic tiles. There is an aroma and illumination specially created for the guest’s complete relaxation. The ceramic seats are warm and in the centre of the room there is s fountain with refreshing water for the guest to pour over themselves to cool down. After 20 minutes the guest should take a shower and this is the ideal time to take a Turkish massage (this treatment has to be booked prior). The humidity of the air is between 80-90% and the temperature 40ºC.
Lava Float Pool
Inspired by the volcanic landscape of the Canary Islands, this marvellous lava grotto provides the appropriate atmosphere for relaxation and meditation. A beautiful amethyst overlooks the room and the special underwater light and sound effects, as well as the special saline solution in the water gives the guest the unique sensation of floating. The water contains a high concentration of salts resembling the Dead Sea allowing the guest to float on top and taking him to the most intense grade of relaxation. The guest is recommended to stay in the water for 20 minutes at a temperature of 30 - 35°C.

Turkish Soap Massage - with price supplement
After enjoying the steam treatment of the Turkish Haman Bath, the guest is ready for a Turkish soap massage. This treatment is carried out on a traditional stone slab, whereby the guest sits up and warm water is being poured over the head. The treatment continues with a body massage applying olive oil soap with a special fibre glove. This is an invigorating treatment which leaves the skin soft and glowing. The treatment lasts for 30 minutes.
Wave Dream Room – with price supplement
This room is specially designed for the relaxation of the eyes. The guest relaxes on a special bed while the back is massaged by electrical impulses, the eyes are looking at the ceiling where waves are created by water reflexes from the Wave Dream Machine situated in the centre of the room. This room has also a special aroma and background sound.
La Stone Therapy Room – with price supplement
This therapy was re-discovered in Arizona, but it was already known in the year 2.000 a.c. The Indios and Shamans of Hawaii stimulated their tired muscles by treating them with warm and cold stones. Lava stones are heated up to about 50ºC. and then placed on the spinal column and different Chakra energy points. Also, cold marble stones are used to obtain an alternative therapeutic effect. The stones become the extension of the therapist’s hands. This treatment has a balancing effect on body, mind and spirit.
Oriental Room – with price supplement
In recent years, the Eastern philosophers have brought to the Western world many preventive and alternative methods which our society recognises today. These philosophies have been practised for thousands of years in many countries. This specially designed room with futons will accommodate many massage techniques from the East including Tai Massage, Shiatsu, Oriental Acupressure, Reiki and many more as our minds open and age old techniques are re-discovered. |
