The time has come: the first Mövenpick Hotel in Greece has just opened.
Following major renovation and extension over the last two years, the upscale Mövenpick Resort & Thalasso Crete is now ready to welcome its first guests and to offer them an exquisite combination of typical Greek hospitality and the traditional Swiss passion for efficiency, reliability, punctuality and precision.

The resort is located on the north coast of the island of Crete, directly on Amoudara beach, 12 kilometres away from Heraklion International Airport. The central location makes it ideal for excursion trips along the 400-kilometre-long island.

The hotel has a total of 285 rooms and suites, of which the majority are located in the main building with views over the Aegean Sea.
6 separate Bungalow buildings, holding 59 rooms and suite units are spread around the gardens to the West, close to the beach and with a separate pool reserved for bungalow guests only.
3 Bungalow Suites and 4 Bungalow rooms feature their own private pool and terrace.
All our rooms and suites have recently been fully renovated, are tastefully appointed and feature modern furnishings.
Rooms of variable sizes are available as well non-smoking and connecting rooms. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, internet connections, minibar, safes and hairdryers. |
Three outstanding restaurants and three bars await to tempt our guests with international culinary delights. Sumptuous buffets are available in Estia restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The Taverna near the beach offers local cuisine for lunch and dinner and the Peitho restaurant promises fine dining with our chefs creating demanding gourmet dishes in the front kitchen of the restaurant.
