The complex consists of three 4 star hotels, all of which have different ambiences: IFA Villas Bávaro is ideal for resting; IFA Bávaro Village is the centre of the resort and the meeting place for all sporting and recreational activities; and finally, IFA Bávaro Ocean, is perfect for couples who wish to enjoy the care dispensed in our Spa Centre. Our clients have access to all facilities, whatever their accommodation.
IFA Villas Bávaro is located in the third line to the beach and has a peaceful atmosphere during the day, at night being the meeting point for entertainment enthusiasts. In the entertainment theatre here, live shows are held, as well as other activities organised by our entertainment team. |
Punta Cana, on the eastern coast of the country, is the main tourist area of the state. It is known as the “coconut coast” due to its hundreds of swaying coconut trees stretching along the 48 km of fine white sand and turquoise blue waters. Playa Bávaro, a 3-kilometre long beach located in Punta Cana, is considered to be one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world because of its natural coral reef and the contrast between its waters and the coast. |
The 262 rooms that the hotel has are divided into 23 blocks of fully independent ten-bedroom bungalows, all one storey buildings with a garden area and a mixture of Spanish colonial and colourful Dominican style decoration.

IFA Villas Bávaro Resort & Spa includes all the à la carte restaurants in its All Inclusive system, although some dishes may have an additional charge. The diversity of our offer tries to cover those cuisines mostly requested by our international clients. This is why the resort boasts a total of 7 restaurants, 2 buffets style, 1Grill Barbecue at the beach and 3 a la carte restaurants, plus 7 bars, two of which offer a snack service. In addition, there is also a snack service in the disco (23.30 h – 03.00 h). |
Arriving by plane, the international airport of Punta Cana is only 20 minutes away from the resort. The main charter companies provide direct flights. Other nearby airports are: the International Airport of La Romana, one and a half hours from Punta Cana, and Las Américas International Airport, 20 minutes to the east of Santo Domingo and 190 km from Punta Cana. |
