British holidaymakers chose the Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo am Katschberg as Austria's top ski hotel
Every year Neilson Active Holidays, a subsidiary of the Thomas Cook Group (GB), evaluates the feedback from its 90,000 holiday guests and gives the "Marque of Excellence" award to the hotel with the highest customer satisfaction level. The Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo am Katschberg emerged as the winner from a total of 33 hotels in the Best Ski Property Austria category for 2007.
Christiane Rusch, Sales & Marketing director for Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts, was very satisfied with the result: "We are thrilled that our concept of a Family Wellness Hotel is so well received." She continued: "Our watchword here is 'welcome to the first children's SPA in the Alps'". Families staying at the Falkensteiner Cristallo am Katschberg think the hotel's facilities are just perfect. They include an in-house water and adventure world for younger guests and an exclusive spa for adults. The architecture is ultra-modern and the atmosphere warm and friendly. A location right beside the ski piste and an in-house ski school fit in perfectly with the idea of the family winter break. That is why the Katschberg is sometimes referred to as "Family Berg".
Oh, and by the way: The Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo recently received the prestigious 3 Lilies accolade, awarded by the Relax Guide Austria for 2008, which placed it among the top ten for child suitability. The Relax Guide conducts anonymous tests and assesses Austrian wellness hotels.
