Thermal spring tradition modern converted

A long declining and detailed story hides behind the Jordanbad and the park hotel Jordanbad. Many one think the name Jordanbad derives from that there would be underground connections of the sources of the bath to the Jordan in
Holy Land. This might be doubtful.
It is, however, fact that 47° degrees Celsius warm water comes from over 1000 m of depth upward at the "Jordanberg".
This thermal water is very rich in content of sulfur and fluoride which is good for circulation strengthening and helps among others at rheumatic illnesses.
The hospital bath was mentioned for
the first time documentarily in 1470.
The Franciscans of Reute opened here the first medically managed Kneipp water sanatorium of Germany in 1889, which was visited at first by parish priest Sebastian Kneipp repeatedly, too and which held lectures there. In 2003 the thermal spring and park hotel Jordanbad were modernized sufficiently and since then it is under lovingly familial administration.
Today the Jordanbad is based on six pillars: Thermal spring, park hotel, Spa and therapy centre Kneipp plus, practice active (orthopaedics practice and midwife practice of Biberach), sense world and living park (attended living and nursing home).
The complete complex is located below the Jordan mountain in a wonderful park characterized with old tree population. Centuries old trees donate the necessary shadow to complete his jogging tour also in the midday sun. At walks one recognizes the park cultivated up to the smallest corner.
The park hotel Jordanbad consists of 2 buildings, the main house and the extension. 81 rooms and suites spread out on 2 or rather 3 floors. All rooms are very spacious and cosy in which the newer rooms are located in the main house. The original atmosphere can be recognized in the complete house.
At the renovation occasional, ancient elements were put expertly into scene with modern. So one stays comfortably
in the lobby next to the big ancient bread oven of once, the broad wooden staircases were received as well. Thick
old ruins replace the air conditioner.
The guest has several choices in the gastronomic area. In the park restaurant with its big terrace one is spoiled predominantly with local but also with international dishes. Whether motto sideboards or 5 course menus no matter- everything is excellent. Mr Lerch the boss of the hotel and together de chef de cuisine particularly attache importance on an honest kitchen according to his own words.
He creates an eventful and eatable kitchen in which also the eye eats. Certain nutrition variants, such as separating food, diet or fasting, are always possible according to appointment.
One can finish the day comfortably in the Enoteca at little dishes and over 100 select wines. According to appointment one is abducted here into the world of the wines. The thermal spring or the senses world also has a gastronomic supply.
The park hotel Jordanbad is a hotel for everyone. One meets families, couples young and old, here. What demonstrates, that for everybody the suitable supply is existing. The kind staff, the cosiness and the cleanness in the whole house speak for themselves.
Even business travellers find here the fitting framework for meetings and company events. Several conference rooms with most modern conference technology are available. Special conference programmes, such as "experience forest" or "to meet with the sense world", can be recommended particularly. To meet in accordance with himself and with the nature can be summoned up new strengths.
And which hotel can offer a church of its own. It is hardly possible for marriages in a more beautiful and more rounded area. Generous event rooms and housetop terraces, gastronomic knowledge mated with adjacent nature makes every celebration to the perfect festival.
Meanwhile, unfortunately, Wellness is in many places an extremely abused word. Because everybody who has only a whirlpool someplace in the cellar scolds himself as a Spa hotel. But Beauwell.com has made listing only first-class Spa hotels its business.
So the park hotel Jordanbad got the best note with five stars from the tourism association Baden-Wuerttemberg and from the German medicinal bath association which only few hotels reached in Baden-Wuerttemberg till now.
Who put up in the park hotel Jordanbad has automatically unlimited admission into the thermal spring. Beath robe and towels are available and one reaches fast and dry foot over a connecting passage in the approx 6000 m² big water paradise.
The thermal spring is partitioned in different areas.
A thermal bath area with several basins, both inside and outside. A brine bath makes lying weightlessly possible in summer with a glass roof to be opened. The family fun bath with daredevil slides lets not only the little squeak with joy.
And not least the sauna land with sauna village. Herb sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, meditation sauna - the choice is great.
The sauna village is integrated harmoniously into a nature pond.
Meditative diversion music, candlelight swimming and illumination effects at the ceiling of the thermal spring dome, the earlier trademark of the Jordan bath, makes Spa in the thermal spring unforgettable. Who wants to be sportive which goes to water keep fit, to different health courses or into the laid out generously fitness studio.

Sports and physiotherapists trained very well, masseurs, beauticians and balneotherapists take care of the guests and their needs. The Spa supply is
not only versatile but qualitatively excellent.
Kneipp's applications, massages and diversion baths, Thalasso treatments, face and body treatments, and also Far Eastern applications like Lomi Lomi or Pantai Luar stand on the program.

My applications were perfect all around, the beautician possessed much empathy, the required quiet and trained hands- only to recommend.I noticed particularly the cleanness in the complete thermal spring, even in the lagoon restaurant was nothing find fault.
I can recommend the park hotel warmly to everyone which would like to ease on high standard without having to spend vast sums of money on it.
Just an all around honest hotel!
