For the owner family of the Spa hotel
Sonnengut the sunflower stands for
zest for life and this manifests itself in
the whole house.
One meets the radiant yellow both in the
public areas and in the rooms and suites.
Also the employees spray this zest for life.
Because in the whole hotel is an immense
ease and kindness.
Here a Bavarian ambiance pared with
Mediterranean flair and the beamed
faces of the employees yields an
excellent symbiosis.
One finds the Spa hotel Sonnengut
approx. 1 hour's drive removes of Munich
in the beautiful Rottal. The Rottal is still
an undiscovered piece of Old Bavaria.
One also calls the surrounding the
“low Bavarian Tuscany”. Hilly wooded
nature,at times little snug villages emboss
the natural scenery. On the bigger rivers
there are historical towns like Passau,
Landshut or Salzburg which are certainly
worth to be visited.
And the greatest and most beautiful golf
Mecca of Germany with 11 golf courses
waits for golf enthusiasts. Completely
new is a 9- hole short course directly in
Bad Birnbach and in summer 2007 a
18- hole course will open its gates.
Of course the guests of the house receive
a Greenfee reduction of up to 30% on all
places. The Sonnengut has as well
numerous flat rates, also for golfers there
are always interesting packages.
The hotel is created like a typically old
Vierseithof of Rottal, the atrium is marked
by an old tree population, a herb garden
lovingly planted and a beautiful terrace
breathed southernly.
88 rooms and suites are located in the
hotel which all of them have a balcony or
terrace and all shows to the outside
because of the Vierseithof from where
one has a beautiful vision on the
surrounding nature. Of double rooms
with 30 sqm of size up to suites with
90 sqm the suitable is there for everybody.
A great positive plus of the Spa hotel
Sonnengut is the choice of its employees.
So one meets an excellent kitchen which
agree to every request. From food
combining over the Montignac nutrition
up to the mature Ayurvedic kitchen after
the 4 constitution types.
Every evening there are 4 course menus
which one also absolutely points under
gourmet circles. Because the kitchen of
the Sonnengut already received repeatedly
awards from the “Feinschmecker” and the
“Schlemmeratlas”.
The guests of the house are varied, all
age groups are represented. What speaks
in turn for an extensive supply. People
who search for quite, sporting people,
golf enthusiasts as well as people who
search for therapy are here in good hands.
And a childcare is also offered for children
as of 5 years in the Pentecost and summer
holidays so that families are really able to
relaxe too.
The sporting supply is versatile:
5 Tibeter, Qi gong, Nordic Walking,
Aqua aerobics, a modern physical fitness
room with equipment and interesting
courses are only a small summary.
In addition organized excursions are
offered every day- interesting for these
which stay longer and want to get to know
better the charming landscape.
Who has once made Spa in the Sonnengut
learns Spa of its best side. First at the
beginning of 2006 a section was modified
completely to be at the newest standart.
Beige stone floor and red granite spread
a warm well feeling atmosphere.
The modern sauna area with a Finnish
Kelo outer sauna, a colour light sauna,
a flavour steam bath and a brine grotto
can be recommended.

Turkish Hamam master. In the classic
Hamam with an exclusive interior one
experiences a Middle Eastern magic of
the quite special manner. Because the
Turkish therapist is a number for himself
and is a master of his trade.
The Spa and beauty list reads itself like
a novel. Hard to believe how much it is
offered. Even a alternative practitioner
and osteopath has his practice in the
house.
The therapists in the Medical centre are
trained very well among others in
physiotherapy, spinal column treatment
after Dorn, lymphatic drainage and
migraine treatment.
However the variety of the treatments is
under no circumstances by debiting the
quality... also in this area it is attached
much importance qualified staff.
So one feels like new born after a
treatment because the therapists go
individually and expertly into the
respective problems. An application
can kindle its whole effect only in such
a way.
The names of the treatments are
promising and are created with much
imaginativeness... at the Viva Mexiko
tequila and Chilli stimulate the
metabolism and a tequila helps to lope
the room at the end.
At the Tanah Lot one relaxes in a
wonderfully nice-smelling balinesic oil
in the colour light bath and enjoys then
a whole body massage which exceeds
even the farthest imaginations.
Also in the beauty farm the programme
is versatile and contains unusual methods.
A new method for the treatment of
wrinkles, scars, acne, pigment
disturbances and cellulite is the ultrasound
simultaneous energy method.
At this the established ultrasound
technology was combined with the
innovative high volt impulse for the
simultaneous as simultaneous application.
