Beauty and Soul
With its "well-being hotel” concept, the Posthotel in Achenkirch was on its way to being a holiday experience for beauty, health, movement and harmony, long before the wellness "wave” broke. Now, with over 20 years of well-being history behind it, the Posthotel is considered one of the leading wellness hotels in the Alpine region. However, the term "wellness” is still not particularly popular in the Posthotel.
Beauty comes from the inside. That is why, in the beauty oasis at the Posthotel Achenkirch, consultation enjoys main focus, and not cosmetics. Facial and body treatments begin only after a thorough personal consultation and mental preparation. All the products used by the Posthotel’s beauticians are based on a holistic concept of beauty care.
The Posthotel’s dedicated "well-being” facilities are found in the "Atrium Spa”, a 1,000-m2 world of wellness and beauty encompassing a beauty farm and a baths and massage centre. 20 elegant multifunctional cabins are available for the different treatments; in addition there are two rooms with floating beds for body packs under a discreet starry sky ceiling, and an oriental Hamam complete with Rasul bath in ultramarine and shimmering gold. Over 20 beauticians and masseurs carry out all the classic massages and TCM treatments, Shaolin Massages at the spa, while the hotel’s own personal fitness trainer takes care of the health and beauty needs of male and female guests alike |
Besides classic beauty treatments and massages, the beauty oasis offers body peelings, deep heat and oxygen therapy . The programme is rounded off with the highly effective Cellcosmet cell revitalization treatment from Switzerland, which firms, protects and regenerates the skin, and through Oriental relaxation techniques, such as Tuina massage, Qi Gong or Tai Chi. All treatments are designed for HER and HIM and are applied according to gender. On offer are body treatments, anti-cellulite treatments, anti-stress treatments, body peelings, body packs and breast treatments. In line with the hotel philosophy "We live from and with nature”, the beauty centre now also offers the Alpienne care range, which takes its raw materials from the wealth of natural resources in the local mountains. The Ligne St. Barth product range, used in Atrium Spa treatments because of its versatile applications, offers a little Caribbean sunshine. |
Wellfit Zöhrerhaus
This 16th century farmhouse has been redesigned into a movement and meditation centre by Feng Shui experts. Mental and physical relaxation training takes place in this zen-sitive atmosphere. Our sports teacher Regina and her team offer you (for example): Step Aerobics, Stretching, Nordic Walking, Body & Soul, Karate Gym, Tai Chi and Qi Gong. |
