Hotel Hochgall enlarged in spring and summer 2007 in order to continue to be your oasis to escape to, right in the centre of the Durreck and Rieserferner groups. Though you can expect many new facilities – we have remained what we have always been: your hosts.

Our family business is located in the fantastic nature reserve “Rieserferner”, literally in ‘Wa(o)nderland’. We offer everything you need for a relaxing summer and hiking holiday. |

That’s easy enough in our new spacious and homey quarters. Natural alpine materials such as wood and wool dominate the feel of the “Nature Idyll rooms”. Here you can easily escape everyday life and yetfeel snug and ‘at home’.

Pleasure and health harmonically combined - this is the motto of our natural and light wholesome alpine cuisine. Top quality, fresh and natural foods, predominantly from the region and local producers form the basis of all our dishes. We pay special attention to gentle and light preparation with typical products and traditional recipes, re-interpreted to meet modern standards. In doing so, we use fresh seasonable products and herbs to round off all our dishes.
You can expect all our meals to be fresh and natural:

...by car
Coming from the North or South from the Brenner motorway take the exit Brixen-Vahren follow Pustertaler Str. SS244 to Bruneck at the roundabout in St.Lorenzen/Bruneck continue into the Ahrental (Ahren valley) follow Ahrentaler Str. SS621 towards Sand in Taufers. Shortly before Sand in Taufers turn right and follow the markings to Rein in Taufers.Nature Idyll Hochgall is situated in the centre of Rein in Taufers.
...by train
Coming from the North or South. Buy a ticket to Bruneck train station (via Franzenfeste). Please let us know your arrival time; we’d be happy to collect you from the train station.
...by plane
Some airlines fly directly to the local airport at Bolzano during the main holiday season. There are direct flights to Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol, departing from Dortmund every weekend.
There are also daily scheduled flights from Berlin, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf via Milan/Malpensa. |
